DONATION FUND

Sound for Change

Concerts, speakers, storytelling, and community events that inspire action and personal commitments.

This fund supports the foundation that makes the full mission possible. It helps cover the practical work required to build and maintain a serious, responsible, mission-driven organization.

About This Fund

Sound for Change uses music, speakers, storytelling, and live gatherings to bring people together around conservation, responsibility, hope and action

The purpose is not simply to host concerts. The purpose is to use music as a force for conservation: to elevate the story of cetaceans, protect the ecosystems they depend upon, and ask people what they are willing to change in their own lives.

Music can reach people in a way that facts alone often cannot. It can open hearts, lower fear, build trust, and bring together people who may come from different backgrounds, beliefs, communities, and generations.

At Sound for Change events, attendees may be invited to make personal commitments, support conservation campaigns, write letters, volunteer, reduce harmful habits, support restoration, donate, or connect with organizations already doing the work.

Sound for Change is built around the belief that public gatherings can become more than performances. They can become moments of commitment, education, healing, and practical action.

The Promise

Sound for Change carries forward the promise to Tokitae by turning music into action.

It asks a simple but powerful question: What are we willing to change?

Some changes may be personal, such as reducing plastic use, conserving water, planting native species, learning more about salmon recovery, or changing how we treat the natural world.

Some changes may be public, such as writing to elected officials, supporting research, funding restoration, volunteering, attending public meetings, or helping partner organizations.

The goal is to help people move from emotion into responsibility.

Music. Stories. Community. Conservation in action.

Through live events and creative storytelling, we bring people together to celebrate the Salish Sea and inspire action for the future.
